Although I have owned, borrowed, or fired 100s of assault weapons in every category, I never supported the NRA and the 2nd Amendment argument b/c it is flawed deeply. The Amendment was for a well-maintained militia to prevent the tyranny of a tyrant Govt. Never for avg. citizens to own the types of weapons we have now that come from German Reichs 2 + 3: the automatic pistol, TMP, SMG, and assault rifle. These are all foreign weapons designed to kill masses of people and were adopted by other nations historically. US pure weapons include hunting rifles, the Colt Peacemaker and 1911A, shotguns, Thompson SMG, etc... which are reasonable to own. But the others that plague the nation are of German origin and now Rheinmetall AG is working on a plasma rifle... so should that become legal to own in the future? A simple AK in the hands of the untrained can result in massacres and that came from the WW2 Haenel STG-43/44. All the automatic pistols came from Borchardt, the P-08 Luger, (double action from P-38), TMPs from Mauser C-96, and SMGs (true version) from Bermann MP-18. The Germans also invented the AT rifle in WW1, caseless weapons, rocket pistol before Gyrojet, and a range of other exotics no one should own. And we no longer have militias but the National Guard. It is even illegal for any Administration, even in emergency, to create a new Army out of Homeland Defense which has been suggested. That would be like Hitler's Waffen SS. Anyway, 555 for the parody- well done!!!
