Original Song Title:

"You Can Leave Your Hat On"

Original Performer:

Randy Newman

Parody Song Title:

"He Made Eve And Adam"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

god, he made the sea flow
real slow
god, he made the earth cool
it had to be cooled
god, he made the world blessed
yes, yes, yes

he made eve and adam
he made eve and adam
he made eve and adam

put some groves in there....and told 'em not to bite
just one, don't bite
a snake appeared...eve became unclear
that's right
raised that fruit up to her lips
ate it

it was like treason to him
it was like treason to him
it was like treason to him

god made this pair start walkin'
said from the garden, depart
you didn't heed this law of mine
you don't know what faith is

you don't know what faith is
you don't know what faith is
you don't know what faith is

you'll learn what faith is

Hmmmm .... is this your way of suggesting that "OS" really means "Original Sin" or just another of your marvelous nursery rhyme spins? :-) Whatever, you get 5s. Eve, without whom, if I bought the story, bliss--it's not always ignorance, after all; prurient liaisons are as enjoyable as platonic ones, and those that are both are best of all--would be soooo boring, gets 10s or better. :-)

Alvin this was marvelous! The choice of this OS to describe man's fall from grace is perfect. I keep picturing R.N. singing this and I can't stop giggling.

There's a wonderful synchronicity in writing a parody about two naked people to an OS often used by strippers. Brilliant Old Testamentoring here, Al. 555+

again, you demonstrate a unique ear/eye/mind for connecting an unlikely subject with and unlikely OS. you are one of a kind
