Parody Song Title:

"Ovulate"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

In fertility, ovulation is the most crucial of times.
Hook: Sunday, Monday, not today…
Tuesday, Wednesday, gotta wait…
Thursday, Friday, I can’t wait!
Saturday! Ovulate!
Waiting all week to screw

Chorus: Tonight it’s on!
Could it be time? (She ovulates)
Today’s my shot!
Oh is it time? (She ovulates)

Verse 1: Done our research, read the books
We’re hopin’ her next egg, ain’t too cooked
We’re both ready, timing’s best
Hopin’ her womb will have a guest!

Chorus: Her legs are up
We’re at the O-BGYN
She says good luck
You’re good to go (and make a kid)

Verse 2: Wanna schmooze her, make her “wow”
Showin’ my lady, tips I found
Rock and roll, she holds my hand
Fallopian tubes have got this, man!

Chorus: The egg is out
Floats down the line (she ovulates)
The time is now
Please work this time (she ovulates)

Hook: Sunday, Monday, not today
Tuesday, Wednesday, gotta wait
Thursday, Friday, I can’t wait!
Saturday! Ovulate!
Waiting all week to screw

Chorus: It’s so long
Since the last time (she ovulates)
I’m feeling strong
Thanks to the wine (it tasted great)

Verse 3: Could need pink or maybe blue
Hope something is growin’ up in that womb
Tonight’s the night, I play our song
The Happy Days theme song, don’t get old

Chorus: LH is up
It’s baby time! (she ovulates)
Her temp is up!
It’s baby time (she ovulates)

Verse 4: Hello new life, goodbye sleep
I’m buying up jammies that have sheep
Lay her gently on our bed
Cervical mucus revs my jets!

Chorus: The test is out
Please work this time (we want a gift)
Results are shown
And now it’s time (it’s a positive!)

Outro: This ovulation brought a child
That baby’s mine (oh what a day!)
No more menstruation for while
And that’s just fine (oh happy day)

Is the technical stuff personal knowledge? Good luck to you.... (Been thru some of that)...otherwise, great parody!

(Artistry) Congratulations! It's a hilarious parody! Seriously though, the combination of sexy talk and clinical talk was enjoyably silly. Favourite lines: "we’re hopin’ her next egg, ain’t too cooked", "showin’ my lady, tips I found" and "cervical mucus revs my jets". 555!

I never knew the whole Happy Days theme (only the "Sunday, Monday..." part), but this was really really funny! Very inspired writing. I literally laughed out loud on the "cervical mucus" line (which is a sentence I never thought I'd type ever in my life). Great work!
