I am reminded of an interesting quote from the DC universe: "There is no victory without great sacrifice." Time for a death toll: 7 adult sized dragons, 13 medium sized dragons, 9 destroyed harrier jets, 2 AppleMaddox base towers destroyed, 4 tanks destroyed, 34 Equestrian earth ponies/unicorns/pegasi, 16 changelings (DNA test confirmed dead), 10 yaks, 12 gryhons, 8 hippogryphs (most fled and hid under the sea), 2 manticores, 62 infantry units, other collateral base damage around $600,000, 16 civilians from S.A.E.M. and other related groups including Picket Gate and Pinkie Pie (war is not funny, and someone who is seen as the element of laughter shows this s**t is real). This skirmish is seen as covering a few weeks since this is world reaching, more injured would be disclosed later. After going back to Equestria, Sunset Shimmer (now back in unicorn form) tells Princess Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer that this world is too dangerous, we cannot be connected to it. So they destroy the magic mirror machine on their end, making the pedestal normal and all the human 6 magic gone. Also, to balance out the universe, lifeforms get magically returned to their respected plains of reality, dead or alive, as the holes are all closed. Epaulette Chip is a highly ranked general in the marines in charge of these military trials. From the story perspective, there will be more testimonials that would follow outside the song, and I will think of other national defence names for the panel (unless you suggest names in the comments). Also, I ultimately decided that Picket Gate's father is Sombra, not Scabbard Sheath. Finally, I should point out that those standing trial are the Humane 5 (without Pinkie Pie), Snowmound Pile, Ivy Drip, and Retrogradient. Scalding Wok and Lightning Dust are too grief-stricken to accept subpoenas. As expected, the gallery is filled with their respected family members.

So, the pedestal gets destroyed, Fort Applemaddox gets de-commissioned after salvage operations, the magic book that Sunset Shimmer had to keep in contact with Princess Twilight Sparkle gets burned, and the necklaces all get an acid bath and dissolved. From their perspective, it seems the operations puts the humans at fault even though it was Equestria that made initial contact. Time for the epilogue aftermath. Final Track: Out of the Ground.

Sorry meant to include this, *leaks = all the intentions and motivations from Nebulus Wave's plan, as well as major risks to science that were overlooked.
Giving you an honest 445 here--it was difficult to understand the motivations of some of these characters, and quite a few pacing missteps, but yet I'm giving you a 5 overall for making it work as a whole. (Interesting choice of "Sombra" for a name--that happens to be the name of a significant corporation in Stephen King's Dark Tower series...)
Yeah. I can see why. I will be more clear about character motivations when I write up the story properly.
