The Lyrics

A parody song of why Garfield hates Mondays. It's Monday, so I thought I'd write this.
{it all starts with a Monday intro}

Garfield: Mondays, get away,
I hate Mondays, because they are here to stay.
Mondays, it's a job.
Go to work this Monday so you don't feel like a slob.
At least Mondays can make you some money,
But Mondays bother me as much as Odie!

Garfield: Mondays, get along.
I'm alright, Jon, but this couch weighs a ton,
Mondays, it's a train.
Don't run over me or else I will feel the pain.
I am in the jungle, running away from a bear,
And I'm walking down these stairs.

{Jon Arbuckle does a solo.}

Garfield: Mondays, it's time.
Give it a week and they will cost you a dime.
Mondays, are the worst.
They take your food and they make it burst.
But if you ask for some food,
It's no good food that they're giving some Starburst.
Starburst, Starburst, Starburst,
Starburst, Starburst, Starburst.

[Interlude with Garfield and the Gang]
Odie: Hee hee, yeah, I was going to Starbucks.
Arlene: Oh, I was going to Starbucks.
Liz Wilson: I certainly was going to Starbucks.
Jon: I know,
Garfield: Why would you all buy Starbucks coffee?
Nermal: I don't know, we were nearly bored on a Monday.
Squeak: Maybe it's because they had to stop the car, and get some Starbucks Coffee, and they wanted to pay some money for it. After they bought money, that actually had Starbucks. I guess that's why they were bored on a Monday.
