The Lyrics

This has been a long time in the making. I have now completed my long-delayed concept album parody, The Dark Side of the Force.
I. Brain Damage
**Anakin singing**
I fell into the lava pit
I fell into the lava pit
Remembering Mace and Yoda and Boss Nass
Got to keep on kicking Jedi ass

Darth Sidious is in the hall
The Chancellor in that hall
His holographic image shoots up from the floor
And every day I must resist the Force

And if the faith is seeming so extremely coarse
And if you go to France to do your bourse
And if your Jedi group's divided up in fourths
I'll see you on the dark side of the Force

The lunatic is in my head
The laws of Sith are in my head
You use the Force, make evils change
You must convince me I'm insane
I locked the door
And threw away my key
A Sith Lord's in my head, but he's not me.

And if your power has an even source
You shout with cries that seem so hoarse
And if your Jedi Knight starts looking like a horse
I'll see you on the dark side of the Force

**Obi-Wan Kenobi, speaking**
"If you strike me, Darth, I shall become...
More powerful than you could possibly imagine!"

II. Eclipse
**Nobody in particular singing**
Using the Force
Being a Sith
Fighting the Clones
Jar-Jar Binks
All that you love
All that you hate
All that you fear
Are you sane?

Winning a race
First meeting Mace
Look at the look
We see on your face.
All you'll create
All you destroyed
All that you'll do
All that you say.

Boots on your feet
Your kids, you'll never meet
Padme's your wife
Who passed away tonight
All that was then
All that is gone
All this is now
And everything under the Sith Lord is coarse
But the Sith is eclipsed by the Foooooorrrrrrrce

**Yoda, speaking**
"No dark side of the moon, there is, really. Matter of fact, all dark, it is."
And may the farce be with you.

WAY WAY too much recycling of the original words. What is a "bourse"? But an ingenious concept...The first couple verses of "Sith Damage" were A++.. Dark Side of the Force, indeed! :) Can you do the entire album?

Thank you for your comments. And, I just DID the entire album, but it was long delayed (by five months!) because of my computer crash and getting the new one. You should check out the rest of the album sometime. In the meantime, I've got another album parody in the works.

I took the time to find your other DSotM/Star Wars parodies...turns out I did view and rate many of them already. Altogether, an excellent piece of work! I would recommend you submit the entire opus as an album (see Johnny D's thread here for details: http://www.inthe00s.com/index.php/topic,10555.0.html).
