The Lyrics

This is the first installment of my album parody, Dark Side of the Force. Hear Pink Floyd sing about Anakin's turn to the Dark Side. In this parody, Anakin is off to become a Jedi.
(A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...)

(STAR WARS logo flashes on screen.)

** The lyrics flash on screen as the written prologue at the beginnig of each film. These lyrics are spoken by Obi-Wan Kenobi**
The Force is what gives Jedis power, absolute power
Created by all mankind, it binds the galaxy together...

Not always been mad, Darth is not all bad,
He was one of us...very hard to explain, use the Force, may the Force be with you...

(Maniacal laughing and sound effects)

(Instrumental)

**Shmi Skywalker (Anakin's mom), singing**
C, C-3PO
A robot made of gold
Son, please don't leave me.
Tell me why, my son's no Jedi

I know he's smart and very bright
Built racer pods when he was nine
The Force is strong, too strong for me
Will Anakin stay home with me?

Wan, Obi-Wan
Use the Force, forget my son,
And when at last the work is done
Don't sit down it's time to build a racer pod

I know he's smart and very bright
But as of now he's only nine
Can he bring balance to the Force
Or turn the Force into a farce?

Ooooh, you know I am Pink Floyd freak. I'm looking forward to see what you'll do with this--can you adequately tell the story in 12 songs (with quite a few instrumentals)? Good luck.
