It's not the lifestyle all men will pursue
They want to bring up the rear
Are their hands tied?
And the clock on the wall tries to cover its face
Til it takes a slide
Very few
Can figure which is which and who is who
On the town
And down is up, and up, I guess, is down
Didn't you know it's from so long ago
It's not a thing that's new
Now they want wows and nuptual vows
They want wedding bells, too
Down, not out
I'm glad there is some masculinity about
It's clear that the gays will want their own way
And make it a "matter of rights"
But marriage is now a cheap little slice
