If they are funny then they are totally valid.

I realize that this is the internet. I am also aware of the emoticons you included. However...I maintain that a laughing emoticon doesn't automatically make something funny. I've had a similar argument with another parody artist on the MBs...I don't think that people should be excused to say whatever the hell they want to say...and then think it's okay because they put a wink or a laughing guy. Unless a precedent of a jovial relationship filled with those kind of comments has been set...If it's not funny...it's not funny. Period.

It didn't even make sense...as I don't know where an online love affair conclusion could be drawn from the parody. Joke or not. You might as well have said..."Oh...after reading this parody, I can tell that Arwen likes to wear bright pink underwear." Because it would have made JUST as much sense as what you said.
