The Lyrics

I was watching SNL last Saturday, and I caught a few seconds of an alternate scene from The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy (Played by Megan Mullally) accidentally pulled off the legs of some munchkins who were under a huge house. The victim's families came and sang to Dorothy that they were suing. Darrell Hammond cam on and told viewers to rewind and play the sketch to "Dark Side of the Moon." Then "Money" played in the background at the end.... I need say more?
S (echo) N L (echo)
Megan Mullally did a spoof of Dorothy (echo)
Munch- (echo) kins sued (echo)
Lollipop Guild sued her for pulling off their legs (echo)
Laughed 'til I cried, and I cheered
When Hammond came on
With a vinyl LP of Dark Side of the Moon
Nearly split my sides

Black (echo) and blue (echo)
The colors of my face! Hee hee! Hoo hoo! (echo)
Chan- (echo) nel surfed (echo)
The sketch would end with that cash register (echo)
"Money" by Floyd in the background, that riff
In Seven-Over-Four
Dave Gilmour sang, like, half of the verse
I nearly split my sides

"I, like, didn't watch the whole thing, 'cause it was on a commercial,
Shocked, shocked, to see Dark Side's jacket. Get it? I mean, watch
The Wizard of Oz, volume down, to Dark Side of the Moon - They go together well!
It was only a strange coincidence, but really...I mean, it works if
There is nothing to do, eh?"

(Saxophone solo accompanied by my constant laughing)

Oz (echo) and Moon (echo)
They synchronize when they are both played side to side (echo)
Laugh (echo) out loud (echo)
And who'll ask what all of the laughing's all about? (echo)
I heard the words, "Money, get away"
I nearly lost my mind
Saw that prism and light, 'twas such a delight
I about died! (Ha Ha Ha!)

Most unexpected... Excellent stuff, Chris :-)

Funny parody, but Dorothy was played by Amy Poehler, a regular cast member. Megan Mullally, the episode's hostess, played the Munchkin lawyer (complete with fake mustache).

I saw that episode, too...I think your parody was better than the actual skit. Excellent.
