Senatorial candidate Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) has claimed have Cherokee blood, through her great-great-great-grandmother O. C. Sarah Smith Crawford. However, there is no proof that Smith Crawford was a Cherokee. I realize that "gibe" is a rather obscure word, and is sometimes confused with "jibe", so here's a definition.
