The Lyrics

This is what i would like to call Led Zepplin meets Elvis Presley- enjoy it. This would make an excellent song for Elvis Week.
Two, three, four.

Uh huh huh, haaaah! Uh huh huh, haaaaaa!
We come from the land of old memphis,
From the deep river to the shining sun

Music of the king
Will drive our planes to Graceland
To pay tribute to the king, sing, and pray
"Oh Graceland- we are coming."

On we sweep with, our jet fast plane.
Our only goal will be the Presley home

Uh huh huh-haaaaaaa!
Uh huh huh-haaaaaaaaa!
An' we come from the land of old Memphis
From the deep river to the shining sun

How we love the king,
Such epic songs of love,
Of how he rocked the world,
He is our mighty king,

On we sweep with our jet fast plans
Our only goal will be the Presley home.

So now we better go
And put on some Elvis tunes
For rock and roll can make the day.
We are the king's rightful heirs,

Uhh huhhh, uhh uhh huhhh huhhh huhh.
Uh-huh--uh-huh-huh-huh-aaah!

Uh huh huh- uh huh huh-huh
Uh huh-huh-uh-huh-huh-huh
Uh-huh-huh-uh-huh-huh-huh!

I hope you enjoyed that because i'll be grading you on how good your reviews of it are. (In elvis voice) Thank you, thank you very much. Have a nice day.

Ever heard of Dread Zeppelin? They play reggae versions of Zep songs, and their lead singer, Greg Tortell, dresses and sings like Presley and calls himself Tortelvis. They have Robert Plant's approval, if not Elvis'.

I have an Elvis-style cape and a pair of Elvis-style shades too.
