Thank you very much Tommy the Turtle--singing is a passion-I love to sing, by writing parodies I get to sing my favorite songs and write (my other passion) at the same time. I love Phil's apostrophe song, very creative and accurate. . .I need to take more time when I type my parodies out as to not misuse them. I could sing all day if given the opportunity, I really get a great deal of enjoyment out of performing my work after writing it, not to mention it helps me with pacing. . .if it's not paced, I can't sing it. . . dioa, thank you for your assessment, This song was very fun to do, and Kool & the Gang song is fun--not always easy--but fun.

Great work Dave! This is one of your better recordings (that I've heard). I didn't realize TOS was this short, but given my disdain for disco, I'm glad it is. Funny stuff. 5s.

Red Ant, this song is one of the one's I've been re-recording, some of my re-recorded ones (eventually all 100 something of my original parodies will be) are being recorded a little differently than the first set. . . those 14 will be redone slowly overtime as they are still doing very well in popularity, Wind Beneath My Butt for example was downloaded by 6 different people yesterday, as long as it is still in the limelight so to speak, I don't want to mess with it's statistics, but I hope to have them all sound somewhat like this soon. . .I'm working on getting them all up, there's just so many:)

(ABC) I know it's early to comment, but for this early pick of your catalog, it was sheer genius to make the "Yahoo!" portion of the song the title, rather than worry about the title sub itself. You've inserted more humor in your work since then, but this definitely shows where you;ve been.
I agree with Agrimorfee on this one, I can tell this was one of your earlier works for sure, but I can't help but to point out the sheer genius of that. Since that actually is more prominant in the song than the title itself.

Congrats for the only entry in this comp that does not start with a form of the word "You". I like the OS of "Kool" and I like how this Yahoo parody followed this OS. Great job of word-smithing here. But I must agree with a comment above that questions whether Yahoo is the best search engine - but no sweat - it works for the parody and has no bearing on its ability to be a great write. Well done.

(ABC4Y) I rarely, if ever, use any kind of search engine any more. That being said, despite the over-simpicity of the OS, I'm surprised the parody wasn't in turn repetitive, though the last line waas a bit out of place.
