She learned beekeeping
And though it seemed bizarre
I played along
I guess I wondered
How it could go wrong
Might be good
If the neighbors caused a buzz
And called the fuzz

But she was scheming
Kind of like a wasp
Without the stripes
Unknown to me
She hooked up sewer pipes
By the time I heard the swarm
It was too late
Nothing left to fate

Now she's bee-stinging me
Though I'm not sure
Just what her reasons be
I figured someday
If I bought her pearls
And I rocked her world
We might get along
I was wrong

So now I'm faced by bees
And soon I know
They'll be stinging me
But who knows maybe
If I time it right
With a can of Sprite
I can get away

As I start shaking
A bumble bee flies in
Joins the fight
But through the raging battle
Was polite
And ev'ry bee he spiked
He called him friend
Right through the end

As they lay dying
A bumble bee and soda can
Won through
Now I mourn the day we wed
I said I do
Was it death we do part
And murder too?

Now what should I do?

Although these stinging bees
She sent to me
Were not the end of me
Can't help but wonder
If some rabid squirrels
Or misguided girls
Might just poison me
Before long

And is it safe for me
To let her know
That she did not succeed?
She ain't no lady
So won't treat her like
She can take a hike
Or just go away
Far away
Far away from me
