Mel Tillis wrote this incredible song and Kenny Rogers and the First Edition immortalized 'Ruby' with their cover. I love it and I use it with the utmost respect, my song title notwithstanding!

Really really really cute. This is a stick the knife in and twist it style parodies. I think it lost something by leaving the lightness of the first half. Who has to tell you how great your skiils are! Thanks.

Smashing good use of the original song. Ruby is one of my favorites, but I am used to hearing it in German. "O, Ruby! Es ist besser du bleibst hier."
Another gem. There may be a good parody on this subject for every piece of buckshot that hit Harry. Has anybody yet redone "Double Shot of My Baby's Love" as "Troubled Shot From Dick Cheney's Gun," or something like that?
