Parody Song Title:

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Aren't migraines awful?
It won’t be easy, you’ll think it strange
when I try to explain how it feels.
but it’s awful, quite often, I reach for a gun.
You won’t believe me.
All you will see is some brain cells, a few
And patient who’s crazy and glad
they won’t expect help from you.

I’ve got to let this happen. I’ve got to change.
Life with headaches, it never appeals.
Keeping clear of all bright lights, the worst is the sun.
So I choose surg’ry:
running around, testing everything new.
But nothing’s worked for me at all.
I knew it was too good to be true.

Don’t cry for me Ibuprofen.
The truth is I’ll always need you.
All through each good day,
blighted by migraine,
I’ll always digest
and always complain .

And as for sickness that makes me lame
I never requested a pin.
Though it seems to the world acupuncture’s inspired,
it’s a delusion.
I don’t have the solution they promised to me.
The chemist had you, just in time.
Above you? I don’t think that’s me.

Don’t cry for me Ibuprofen.
The truth is I’ll always need you.
All through each good day,
blighted by migraine,
I’ll always digest
and always complain.

Have I said too much?
There’s nothing more I can think of to remove the pain.
One dosage hasn’t worked, so I’ll one take again.

DON’T CRY FOR ME IBUPROFEN!!!!!!!!!!

I own nothing.

For me, the title might have worked better as "Don't Make Me Cry, Ibuprofen," but this is good stuff. Particularly the acupuncture lines. I also commend you for crediting the OS to Julie Covington and not the artist who performed it in the movie.

Thanks. Technically, I was thinking of Elaine Paige and Nora Mae Lyng's versions when I wrote this, but I want people to remember who did it first. I don't ever want them to think Madonna did any good. LONG LIVE PAIGE.

Hey, Patti Lupone was no slouch either. ISTA, you might like to see http://www.amiright.com/parody/authors/brangelinaanamirightmusical.shtml

I never really "got" LuPone, or The Beatles for that matter. Anyway, I shall check out the Brangelina musical. Thanks for your time.
