The Lyrics

Well, it's getting close to Christmas now, & I thought I'd do another Christmas song. I encourage you to have a merry Christmas, but please take some time to remember the poor souls sent to the Soviet gulags who can never celebrate Christmas again. Also, as you may or may not know, this song is best sung in a Russian accent.
I go to gulag,
I go to gulag,
I go to gulag
Because the government doesn't like my thoughts.

I go to gulag,
I go to gulag,
I go to gulag
Because the government doesn't like my thoughts.

They do not care how I spend this Christmas,
Is vhy they throw me in the pen this Christmas,
They do not care how I spend this Christmas
"cause those monsters have no hearts.

They do not care how I spend this Christmas,
Is vhy they throw me in the pen this Christmas,
They do not care how I spend this Christmas
"cause those monsters have no hearts.

I do hard labor,
I do hard labor,
I do hard labor
As punishment for vhat I have done.

I do hard labor,
I do hard labor,
I do hard labor
As punishment for vhat I have done.

They do not care how I spend this Christmas,
Is vhy they throw me in the pen this Christmas,
I vould escape from this dump for Christmas
But they got an armored car.

They do not care how I spend this Christmas,
Is vhy they throw me in the pen this Christmas,
I vould escape from this dump for Christmas
But they got an armored car.

The state lock me up,
The state lock me up,
The state lock me up
Because I insult the grand leader.

The state lock me up,
The state lock me up,
The state lock me up
Because I insult the grand leader.

They do not care how I spend this Christmas,
Is vhy they throw me in the pen this Christmas,
I gotta try & escape for Christmas
But I don't know where to start.

They do not care how I spend this Christmas,
Is vhy they throw me in the pen this Christmas,
I gotta try & escape for Christmas
But I don't know where to start.

Perhaps I get out,
Perhaps I get out,
Perhaps I get out
Or else they'll kill me as I'm trying.

Yep, it sure is something else. Also, if you want more Russian-ness, I'm planning on doing a parody of the Soviet Union National Anthem. Also, this song was covered by other bands, too. Heck, I might just parody the version by Boney M & make it the disco version of this song (if that is OK).
