Song Parodies -> "GNAWS Theme Music"

Original Song Title:

"JAWS Theme Music"

Original Performer:

John Williams

Parody Song Title:

"GNAWS Theme Music"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

In 1975 John Williams scared the f--k outta people with that creepy Jaws theme followed by the inevitable screams of the victims in the water onscreen... but in 2011 the tables are turned on shark fear as the Chinese and Japanese now hunt them for exotic shark fin soup which is incredibly expensive and tastes like biting into a rubber mat or trampoline!!! A waste of money... So I am poking fun at that scary song and rendering it moot. The setting is in a Japanese restaurant!!!

At sea

Duuun dun, Duuun dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, BOM, BOM, dun ,dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, doo dedoo, doo dedoo, dede doo, dede doo, dededoo

(human victim screaming)

In a Japanese restaurant

Uuuum uum, Uuuum uum, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, CHEW, CHEW, mmm ,mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, slu uuurp, slu uuurp , chew chew, chew chew,
slu uuurp- yum!!!

MENU: Shark Fin Soup ¥ 1200

(human customer eating)

Looks like the shark didn't agree with something that ate him! ;-D Excellent Rob! 5's! :-)

I don't know if you're into that or not, but Lalo Schifrin (the guy who did the Mission: Impossible theme) did a disco version of the Jaws theme in 1976.

Some very profound lyrics. Saw "60 Minutes" report on sharks yesterday. Chopping off the fins and throwing the rest of the animal overboard. Seems like there's a great deal of cruelty going into Japanese cuisine.

I have eaten many kinds of meat from many types of animals. I've never had shark fin soup yet but I've eaten shark meat, it's quite popular in California. Then in the New Age 90s quacks were shilling shark cartiledge pills on TV. I don't like the idea of chopping off just one body part and throwing the rest away. My Native American ancestors utilized every part of an animal that they could. Nothing should be wasted.
