Some taters with gravy
And Turkey for meat

With pie and with buns
And drumsticks and canned yams
And coma to come

Let gluttony rule
With time with the family
And football to view

My family's all oddballs
You don't get to choose
We join each November
And here's but a few

There's great uncle Lenny
Who tells the same jokes
His stories aren't funny
And don't have a point

And dull witted Toby
My brother's odd boy
He's thirty two years old now
And still plays with toys

And here's cousin Lulu
She's short and she's fat
She's loud and obnoxious
And has forty cats

There's yelling and screaming
Before we all eat
Then join hands at table
And pray for world peace

And this is Thanksgiving
From start to wishbone
So glad when it's over
So I can go home
