The Lyrics

Attention ALL people: This parody was intended for all politcal parties, I just put the word democrat in because it fit's better than polittiian, dont u think? Again, DO NOT take any of this seriously! Any person can do these things in this parody! I know the consequences of writng this, but I hope it does not cause an uproar. I'm not hinting ne thing either. It's a parody, laugh!
Well, life in the city is kinda fast paced
Not much an old American like me can't chase
Fightin' tax breaks and listening to lies
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

When the peolpes' agitation has had it up to here
With the damn Iraqi war and the peoples' Jihad cheer
Our days will be filled with laughter and beer
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

Well, I got me a fine life, I got me own diddle
When the bullets go flyin' no bodies will they riddle
Life ain't nothin' but a poorly made fiddle
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

When the troops are all home and when Bush is in the shack
I'll pick up the phone and give all the oil back
The government's asleep so I say it's just a hack
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

I'd say "Saddam's an ass" all day if I could
But the Shiites and Sunnis wouldn't take it very good
So I help "em when I can, be firm when I should
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

Well, I got me a fine life, I got me own diddle
When the bullets go flyin' no bodies will they riddle
Life ain't nothin' but a poorly made fiddle
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

I wouldn't trade my life for an Abrams or Medal
Never was a soldier boy tryin' to hear the grindin' metal
I'd rather be a man then some corn in a kettle
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

Yeah, all the good people that are lookin' up to me
They know I'll stop the war and maybe plant a little tree
Savin' all the pensions for our own retirees
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

Well, I'll work at the House until my term is done
Try to save the glaciers "fore their all long gone
Listen though boy, it's not a job for fun
Thank God, I'm A Democrat

Well, I got me a fine life, I got me own diddle
When the bullets go flyin' no bodies will they riddle
Life ain't nothin' but a poorly made fiddle
Thank God, I'm A Democrat
