Parody Song Title:

"Sake Magnum High"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

he was thrown in the slammer in his 27th year
for disturbin' the peace...he'd been in here before
he'd had quite a day behind him
you might say he was bombed again
you might say he's frequently behind jail doors

quenched the thirst that had been mountin'...his mind was far away
hit the road and banged up 'fore too long
and his neck was nearly broken...and he started to get scared
he was really gassed...his breath was smellin' strong

got a "god, i'm blotto" sake magnum high
its just like drinkin' fire when applied
he'll pass out 'neath the bar lights
or stumble to his car and drive
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto

he's swam in public fountains...he heard laughin' crowds below
they saw everything, cause he was nude, you see
and they say he's such a crazy dunce
he's fried and touched and stunned
and he's lost his friends..there is no remedy

now he sits in quiet solitude...deploringly, he screams
gettin' maced...right in the face, he takes
his eyes are burned...beside himself...he just don't understand
its insanity...he just can't get a break

got a "god, i'm blotto" sake magnum high
he's got a brain on fire...my oh my
if he's walkin' odd and listin'...he's a catatonic guy
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto

now his life is full of blunders...when he's drunk, he has no fear
even simple things he cannot comprehend
once he tried to pull the jukebox down
and walked through a plate glass doorr
that evening left some scars upon the lad

got a "god, i'm blotto" sake magnum high
a drink he may require, when he's dry
i know he likes that foreign wine, even though its made with rice
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto

got a "god, i'm blotto" sake magnum high
he couldn't give it up if he tried
thirsty as a vampire...and every night, he's high...high...high
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto
sake magnum high...god, he's blotto

Had me laughing out loud for real, especially lines like "gettin' maced...right in the face, he takes" and "once he tried to pull the jukebox down and walked through a plate glass doorr" .... Rocky Mountain Fives.

"God I'm blotto" for "Colorado" had me cracking up. I suspect this is a hard song to parody, and you did it excellently as always.
