The Lyrics

a.i. added 5 verses about the 14th amendment to a chorus by eeL deaL
Fourteenth Amendment, a beacon so bright,
Equal protection, under the light,
Fourteenth Amendment, a shield from the fight,
Of tyrants and traitors, who smother the right.

Fourteen Amendment, a whisper in breeze,
No state shall abridge, what freedom decrees,
From voting and justice, to mountains and seas,
Equality's chorus, forever appease.

The Colorado supreme court was right
When they decided that Dump is disqualified
It was a ruling that surely was God-inspired
Cheers to the high court of Colorado
Cheers to the high court of Colorado

Fourteenth Amendment, a fortress so grand,
No badges of office, can silence the stand,
For freedom and fairness, across the whole land,
No puppet or king, shall command.

Fourteenth Amendment, a compass so true,
North Star of justice, for me and for you,
Let reason and logic, forever pursue,
A nation united, with hearts ever new.

The Colorado supreme court was right
When they decided that Dump is disqualified
It was a ruling that surely was God-inspired
Cheers to the high court of Colorado
Cheers to the high court of Colorado

Fourteenth Amendment, a song in the air,
Echoes of freedom, a promise to share,
With mountains of hope, and valleys of care,
Let justice forever, the burden we bear.

The Colorado supreme court was right
When they decided that Dump is disqualified
It was a ruling that surely was God-inspired

The Colorado supreme court was right
When they decided that Dump is disqualified
It was a ruling that surely was God-inspired

Cheers to the high court of Colorado
Cheers to the high court of Colorado
Cheers to the high court of Colorado
Cheers to the high court of Colorado
Cheers to the high court of Colorado
Cheers to the high court of Colorado

i bet some checked this out because they thought it was about judges who made a decision while they were high on weed. eeL is happy to draw them in that way before slapping some sense into them.

I'll bet some checked it out to see the same tired old shill cheering a corrupt system that's afraid to face its opponents in fair elections. The ratio would suggest that they're not the ones who got slapped.

an election including a candidate who is constitutionally disqualified isn't a fair election, but don't worry, Grump worshippers, because the US supreme court your cult leader stuffed with CONservatives will likely overturn the Colorado ruling and choose to interpret the law wrongly.
