Parody Song Title:

"Octomom"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Giving birth to 8 kids
Two little girls and six boy brats
Implanted embryos
Crazy mother’s a babe popping pro
Hey, Octomom!
In her oven put buns
Does giving birth really seem like fun?
Hey, Octomom!
Did all for cheap bucks
From out of her cooter they’ve all been plucked
Damn, Octomom!

Dad said, “Hell no”
She’ll raise them all with nannies
On Dateline
Then soon with Jay Leno
Don’t start a fad
Don’t give ideas to her friends
While most just get a dog
More kids she makes

Hearing her moan
Octuplets are bestowed
She must be licking toads
That turned her goofy
Octomom can vend
Like a machine spits out Hershey’s
Your infant squad will scream just like banshees

Was pretty clever
For free publicity
Although people think that you are weird
You are rolling in money
Hey!
While your sagging tummy is a huge mess
Your picture’s all over town
To make kids I would have 8 different flings

Her downstairs hole
Is now worn out like her Nikes
Hearing whines
Around the clock it blows
Now she is sad
At Toys R Us her cash’s spent
She looks just like a hog
When they breast feed

More kids at home
There’s sixteen a huge load
They’re crammed in her abode
10 on her knee
Octomom you freak
It was not because you’re sleazy
Just wanted wads of green for your babies

(Guitar Solo)

Goo-Goo-Gaa-Gaa, Goo-Goo-Goo-Goo-Ga-Ga
Goo-Goo-Gaa-Gaa, Goo-Goo-Goo-Goo-Ga-Ga

This mom’s at wits end
All these toddlers make you queasy
Should sell them to Angelina Jolie

Gagging on the harsh stench
Changing those diapers is so intense
Burping them is so gross
Always crying you will never doze
Poor Octomom!
Why’d you pop a whole ton?
All single mothers think that you’re nuts
Dumb Octomom!
Wasn’t only bad luck
What you need now is a tummy tuck
Hey Octomom!
No, Octomom!!!

Wonderful take on this, Matthias!! Hopefully, we'll end up with Eight different parodies!!! Masterfully done. Aquafives!

We do not ask for whom the Tull bells. If only we could give you an 8 for this, but you'll have to settle for a 5.

From a Tull fan - well done and 5's for you. If Angelina doesn't need any more, perhaps Madonna can buy as she was turned back on her recent purchase attempt.

A few tiny pacing issues, but this is very good. Great title sub, good metaphors (vending machine!), and good internal rhyming with the OS. 5s for you.

Quality parody, well written and relevant. ANd there's definitely several things wrong with her situation. My drawback is that personally I have trouble laughing at a situation like that where 14 kids are in that situation without a choice. And the millions more who are in bad parenting situations elsewhere.

Anyhow, my personal feelings about what I can laugh at. Doesn't come out of your score, and well written again as always.

Oops! "There’s sixteen a huge load" should be "There's fourteen a huge load"... My bad.

Auch Du Lieber: How I detest this subject, Squire Matthias! No fun = no runs, no hits.

what an awesome job 5-5-5 on an OS hard to ever parody!!

Octomom, that sounds like the name of a supervillain, Spiderman vs Octomom... you get the picture. BTW, I wonder if her husband calls their bed the Octoride now, considering the obvious and that eight is also probably how many years it will be until they find private time to have sex again...

Methinks Octomom should sell some of her babies to Madonna and/or Angelina Jolie. Here are some 5s.

SOTM - 555 for a well done and very topical write!

All right, first of all -- awesome title sub. I thought the first verse was truly great too. After that, it seems like the length of the original caught up with you and it was just good, not great. Except for that vending machine bit, that was great too. Overall, very good.

(SOTM) I have the feeling that this was for a challenge thing that I missed out on. Still, great parody, even though all I can think about is that Simpsons episode with a similiar plot. 555!

Could have sworn I'd commented on this when it first came out - not my favourite Tull song, especially for parodying, but a great idea for a title sub, and very well-executed.

Still well written, and still a hard subject to sell to me, but some parts were funnier second time around.

(SOTM) Well written, and funny--to be honest--TOS was horrible in my opinion, I hate the song, but I've heard worse thanks to AmIRight (Desolation Row, Wreck, If. . .) 5s on the parody
Invisible Boy - May 31, 2009 - Report this comment
As mentioned, great idea and title-sub, Matty. I like the OS and know how tricky it is to parody, so 555 turkey basters to you...
Arwen - May 31, 2009 - Report this comment
SOTM...this didn't do a whole lot for me...probably because the reality around which this is written makes me so sad/sick/crazy that it's hard to even laugh. It was well written, though...great work!

SOTM: Very timely, and a great title sub. The whole original story was so strange it deserved to end up in a parody :)
