Original Song Title:

"East Bound & Down"

Original Performer:

Jerry Reed

Parody Song Title:

"Osama's Goin' Down"

Parody Written by:

Dylan Baranski

The Lyrics

YEAH! Dylan Baranski is back in the hood! I just had some issues at home to take care of, but I'm back on track! Darrell Wilhelm suggested I do a parody of "Carmelita" by Jerry Jeff Walker, but I didn't know that song. However, I figured I was overdue for a country music parody, so I figured this was as good as any for an anti-Osama parody. Enjoy.
He’s goin’ down,
Load yer guns & shoot him!
Or we should run him over with a truck!
We got lots of work to do,
And not much time to get him.
When he’s caught, he’ll be plumb outta luck.

Keep your finger on the trigger,
And your foot on the gas.
Just hang in there, ‘cause we’re gonna kick his ass!
He used to be in Afghanistan,
Now he might be in Pakistan,
No matter where he is, his luck won’t last.

He’s goin’ down,
Load yer guns & shoot him!
Or we should run him over with a truck!
We got lots of work to do,
And not much time to get him.
When he’s caught, he’ll be plumb outta luck.

(instrumental solo)

He’s goin’ down,
Load yer guns & shoot him!
Or we should run him over with a truck!
We got lots of work to do,
And not much time to get him.
When he’s caught, he’ll be plumb outta luck.

Hey buddy, keep your ears on,
Don’t ya lose his trail!
We ain’t gonna rest ‘till he’s dead or jailed.
He will not dodge us, he will not duck us,
We won’t be stopped by any ruckus!
We’ll keep our triggers down & give him hell!

He’s goin’ down,
Load yer guns & shoot him!
Or we should run him over with a truck!
We got lots of work to do,
And not much time to get him.
When he’s caught, he’ll be plumb outta luck.

Not bad, Dylan. Pacing was excellent.

Hellova job. If you want to check out a parody about a really nice 1972 Chevy truck (I've personally seen and ridden in the subject of this parody), check out "I Bought a "New" Truck" by Andria. 555
