Parody Song Title:

"Doormat For The World"

Parody Written by:

Andrew Morse

The Lyrics

A summary of Democratic foreign policy.
Terrorist dictators
Why are they so mad?
Something must be hurting them
Making them feel so bad

We should help these folks out
Give them what they need
Oh, America should be
A doormat for the world

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Hey

Our nation's too strong
No wonder they complain
Instead of dropping all those bombs
We should try to feel their pain

And there was no real threat
From that guy Hussein
Oh, America should be
A doormat for the world

Yeah, yeah

Gather every thug
Gather every killer
Negotiate with them
Give them whatever they want (Yeah)

Gather all the scum (Gather all the scum)
Gather them together (Gather them together)
Give them what they want (Give them what they want)
Hopin' that they'll be nice to the world

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh

Can't go into battle
Our foes we must appease
Anyone who supports a war
Is an evil racist sleaze

The United Nations
We got to make them friends
Oh, America should be
A doormat for the world

Yeah, hey

We should be
I wanna make it one
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
Everybody (Doormat for the world)
Oh, think about the children (Doormat for the world)
We should be a doormat (Doormat for the world)
When will we be (Doormat for the world)

Great choice of a 1970's Isley Brothers song for this parody. They deserve deserve more recognition than they get. After all, Ernie was taught by Jimi Hendrix since Jimi played for the group in the mid '60s. Listen to their version of Summer Breeze and you will see why.
