The Lyrics

If I can survive just another day,
Fly out to Vegas in the usual way.
But there's a plane to catch, my bills I pay,
If I go in hock I'll just run away.
And I'll be rockin' my way through it, and as I flew,
I pray, I'm hopin' not to lose too bad,
I'm known to bet a buck or two.

Shootin' craps at the tables in the Silver Dune.
Rolled eleven, gonna shoot the moon.
Like the thunder dome, Mad
Max wins again, this is one together crap run.
I knew this was a good sign then.

Threw a ten gotta go, the hard way,
It's sad, up for a fall. Mad, c'mon replay.
Gotta reach me a throw, I'm so hot today.
I'm glad I brought it through, I'm glad I'm okay.
I should just walk away but my style's my whim,
And so, I'm gonna roll again, yeah,
You know I'm gonna throw again.

Shootin' craps at the tables in the Silver Dune.
Rolled eleven, gonna shoot the moon.
Like the thunder dome, Mad
Max wins again, this is one together crap run.
I knew this was a good sign then.

Well I came with risk knowlege stats I gotta weigh,
So much for a plan I just had to stay.
Fun, this crowd I drew, I'll just roll for a while,
I took my bread and said with a smile.
What I'd really like bad is tomorrow I'll be pleased,
Hail Creator, cannot roll no threes.

Shootin' craps at the tables in the Silver Dune.
Rolled eleven, gonna shoot the moon.
Like the thunder dome, Mad
Max wins again, this is one together crap run.
I knew this was a good sign then.

I started gettin' tired, the crowd moved away,
I hauled 'em up make these rocks obey.
Then said, if I toss you guys will you be kind?
And said, I want to bad, if I can one more time.
You see my home is my castle and the skids won't do.
But it's been sure nice rockin' with you, lad.
It's been sure nice rockin' with you.

And as I flung out the bones I preferred the spree,
Can't zone out, just ain't me.
It's joy or bust you see.

Shootin' craps at the tables in the Silver Dune.
Rolled eleven, gonna shoot the moon.
Like the thunder dome, Mad
Max wins again, this is one together crap run.
I knew this was a good sign then.
I knew this was a good sign then.

Thanks - Glad you liked it. I didn't know how this one was going to end until I wrote the last three lines. I couldn't decide if the roller was going to win or lose his shirt, so we just leave him rollin'.

If you keep serving him free drinks, then he'll be rollin' on his liver.
