While I'm quite certain that we don't have to worry about Al Quida recruiting Mexicans, it is a shame that we basically have no control over the flood of Mexicans crossing the border. I say we fine the Mexican government $10,000 per illegal immigrant. That would definitely get their government to start doing more to help us with this problem.

A few observations about this fiasco: Not all of the people nabbed coming across (of those which are nabbed, that is) are Mexican. Among those not Mexican are people of *Middle Eastern* origin, sneaking into the US from Mexico, and thus violating the laws of both countries. It's not too hard to imagine what these Middle Easterners are up to, and it ain't brewing Corona. While W hasn't done [solid excrement] about this, both right and left condone what's going on, and sorry to say, I don't see Kerry doing anything different. Righties want the cheap labor, and lefties want to recruit them as voters. And if you saw anything about it, someone on the left is bound to accuse you of being anti-Hispanic, as if it's racist to expect immigrants to obey laws. Illegal aliens have made their trail into Arizona into an environmental disaster area. It's become an open-air garbage dump/toilet. While the Mexican government condones what their people are doing, they are very strict about anyone who comes into their country without going through the proper channels. They are hypocritically quite vigilant about people to migrate illegally into Mexico. To some it up, it's even worse then you say.

Not all are Mexican but the vast majority are. I'm in agreement with what you said, however. We have no idea really who is crossing our borders and steps should be implemented to effectively seal both. However, with Bush in office, this'll never happen. He's a liberal in conservative's clothing. Vote Tancredo in 2008!
