The Lyrics

A secret agent organization
Created some certain technology
Toward ice cream trucks, went no longer out of luck
Making those vehicles quite deadly

On one afternoon in the first Sunday of June
I've heard the ice cream bells ringing
Now that tune hypnotised everyone, I realized
They're put to sleep quickly, but I'm blinking

Some cars came in, immediately stopping
And they found out what happened, indeed
A certain someone asked "Why's everyone
sleeping in the middle of the street?"

Another ice cream van, prepared to wreck the land
By using its ice cream-filled missiles
Everyone panic, this problem might be chronic
Well it doesn't put me to sleep, what a hassle

The left side of every ice cream truck
Is equipped with a missile launcher
It might be the grenades that will fly at your face
And your Scion's about to get shattered

Besides the vans' crazed rocket-launching bays
Every ice cream truck driver wields a rifle
Some suburban housewives could save others' lives
Even mailmen are about to be stifled

When Air Force planes came to drop atom bombs
The ice cream vans spray jets of milk
Some planes fall right down to the neighborhood ground
This war will be worth much a thrill

The Army commandos encounter the foes
That had been acting berserk and vile
The sun came down as they think very fast
As they battle ice cream trucks gone wild

Does anyone know where the little kids go
When the war turned the minutes to hours
The assault raged on, as the popsicle bombs
Came from the ice cream trucks' firepower

So innocent people, save all of your money
Gentlemen, bring out your guns
Carry a bazooka on your side, my sugar
Those ice cream vans are on the run

Malteds will fly showering flower beds
In the front yards of everyone's houses
Fireworks burst, days are getting real worse
Frightened most of the men's spouses

Their ammo's kept stocked, but they might get stalked
By an ice cream truck's hit-and-run tactic
As the Navy troops divide in groups
With the middle school boys went in panic

Ten after midnight, almost everyone died
The ice cream trucks have been bombed
Some of the ice cream men were survived just when
Their ice cream vans are wrecked and gone

The very next day, some news reporters say
"This is a very special report:
Our city's ice cream vans went muy loco,
but the special forces had won the war."
