"Was Past Midnight"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

More on the "Dark Knight" massacre...
There's a place they went to go for watching
last of Nolan’s trilogy of the “Dark Knight”
it was past Midnight

When Batman’s what they’re there about
and “action” is what they cared about
time for some fright,
shortly past Midnight

Suddenly, they heard screams
blood gushing from… a bullet stream
it's time they started finding out
what (dark) fantasy is all about

A gunman had decided their fate,
Some survived, others too late
patrons took flight, amidst firepower might
was past Midnight,
was past Midnight,
ran for their lives!

“Joker” survived…

The worst part about it is that you're right. "Joker" survived. The cops should have been there and just shot him in the face. I understand attempting to take somebody down without causing a scene but the fact that nobody did a damn thing to stop him until it was too late is what really makes this entire thing so much worse.

DISCLAIMER: 7 of my 9 parodies today deal with the "Dark Knight Massacre" of 6/20 and are NOT meant to be funny at all. I chose to express myself by providing all aspects of the incident including HEROES, the gunman, and THE TRAGEDY so similar to Columbine. Please take that into consideration when rating. I suspected that few would tackle this topic, but if nobody else wants to, I have it covered ~ Rob Arndt

I know it is certainly not meant to be funny, but I can almost see some unintended dark humor rising up in here - the kind that Stephen King often spoke about. : "it's time they started finding out what (dark) fantasy is all about " and "Joker survived". Good commentary on a difficult subject.
