Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Another in a possibly continuing series.
Edmund Fitz, oh Edmund Fitz, could you hear the gale winds blowing?
Did you see the lighthouse glowing?
When that bulkhead split, it sank the Edmund Fitz

Edmund Fitz, oh Edmund Fitz, hatches swamped by rogue waves crashing
While you watched the lightning flashing
Radar on the fritz. We lost the Edmund Fitz

Sonar found her lying on the bottom
In a field of iron ore and debris
Bow and stern sank sep-ar-ate-ly
As the Fitz made her final run

Edmund Fitz, the Edmund Fitz, twenty nine brave sailors dying
They left their wives and children crying
As the clouds roll in and November weather hits
The Edmund Fitz, the Edmund Fitz
Captain McSorley radioed a nearby vessel that he had lost radar and therefore critical information on the storm. Sonar and later submersible visits to the wreck site show that the Edmund Fitzgerald broke apart at some point with the bow pointing upright and the stern section face down, about 170 feet away.

Patrick - Bueno Sera, Mr. Campbell. (BTW, this is the title of a fun 60's movie - and the plot was used for the musical Mama Mia). Keep this series going...you're turning amiright into a 'Webbsite". ;D

As parody projects go, this could be bigger than most.

I never had heard the song until a few days ago, and this seems like a good parody

Tomorrow could be a bit bizarre.

Like the Fitz, you're on a roll.
