The Lyrics

Chill out, relax, sit down and enjoint this rather mellow take on the orginal.

A YouTube version of the original song can currently be found here.
Where can I go for blissfulness?
These are real stressful times, I wanna de-obsess!
Boss I can not circumvent
Even my grandma's jacked, retweets the president

I need ten
And then ten
And THEN ten

I'm gonna join the kitchen wench
We're gonna cross the backyard fence
We're gonna puff away the rent
We're getting stoned inside her tent

TUNE IN's what I recommend
What else' there to do when drudge seems without end
That and TURN ON with your friends
60s leisure, and then DROP OUT when you're spent

We'll take ten
Upon ten
Come my friends

We're getting joint' by many mensch
We're gonna jump the backwood trench
We're gonna toke at quite a length
We're getting stoned inside a henge

Reefers!
Doobies!
Space Out!

One more thing before first hit
I'm gonna want to munch on all that I can stuff into my face
We all remember our first time, word you say
And then the carbatose that came on after it
Still there's one thing that buggers me
That now it's legal, taxed and cops agree!

Inside the mist we're making friends
With coppers looking like Mike Pence
They're coming round for the event
It's not the same with their consent!

We're getting joint by famous gents
(TUNE IN, TURN ON)
Puff Daddy's here at the event
(TURN ON, DROP OUT)
Come share some Coke with 50 Cent
(DROP OUT, TUNE IN)
All's gonna toke at quite a length
(TUNE IN, TURN ON)

While you told me not to expect the song version of a documentary of the 90s sitcom I never expected it to be about getting high with the neighbor's housewife and a bunch of famous rap stars! 555 doobies for you mon!

You could have also made this a Frankenstein parody about a lonely guy who has to literally make friends in a science lab

As far as I can remember it's my first foray into the theme, but sometimes I have to go where the writing takes me. Wanted to write something about the ancient tourist trap Stonehenge, but that didn't quite fit the OS so I drifted towards "stoned in the henge", meaning stoned as in the brutal ancient death penalty method. Then I realized that "reefers" paced perfect over "temper" and from there the rest came rather easy. Wanted to reference Willie Nelson rather than Puff Daddy and 50 Cent, but those guys worked to methinks.

I always thought the lyric was "Dont want to be your monkey MAN." Kind of funny, huh? Too bad there isn't a website where you can post your stupidly misheard lyrics (lol) ... I had to shuffle things around for my "Arya" thingie. I started with "You cannot fight against the "sleight" (her ability to conceal her identity) of Arya -- but I couldn't shoehorn that into the OS. Then I came up with "oldest boys" for "Beastie Boys" and knew that was a keeper. So I recast the theme as Arya the Psycho
