On the griddle -
As the French fries -
On a cold and gray McDonalds' morning
A pathetic little burger is cookin'
On the griddle.
Another order's placed.
'Cause if there's one thing that we don't need
it's another little burger that passes for feed
from the griddle.

People don't you understand
McDonalds doesn't rate near 10,
and I'm going to be a hungry young man today.
Take a look at you and me,
are we to blind to see?
Or do we simply spend our cash
and look the other way
as the burger cooks.

And a hungry little boy with his Mommy's nose
looks for the meat and thinks "Where'd it go,
from the griddle?"
And his hunger burns.
As he starts to roam the buns inside
and he yearns for a real hamburger tonight
from the griddle.

Then one day came in inspiration,
McDonalds fades away.
I tossed the bun, I drove my car
I asked someone where the real restaurants are;
I want real French fries

As a stomach growl came from this hungry young man,
I raced down the street as fast as I can
To "Bob's griddle.

Bob has tasty fries.
No more cold and gray McDonald mornings
or waiting for a tiny burger from the griddle.
