Original Performer:

Earth, Wind & Fire

Parody Song Title:

"Let's Troll"

Parody Written by:

Max Power

The Lyrics

A sequel to "Het n00b"
(Troll)

(Now, trolling, now, trolling...)
I’ll troll that site
Due to lack of life
Gonna do it right
I’m gonna troll that site

Cannot move, going to troll,
For all night, all night, all night
Cannot move, I’m on a roll,
So, troll up, all night, all night

Gonna show you what I can do,
With no life, that’s right
Let you know that I’m not a fool
I cannot fight, that’s right

Just save yourself and hide like that 007
And hide yourself through the screen inside the depths of the basement

In a mood, wipe out the ruse, it’s alright, alright, alright
C’mon dude, let’s have some fun

Let’s troll tonight, tonight, tonight
Let me show you what I can do
with my spam, tonight

Gotta let you know that I’m not a n00b
Who cannot fight, that’s right

I’d start a topic on why this sports team sucks
In that team’s message board
What you learn is happening now

Set it smooth, I’m in a groove, for all night, all night, all night
Let those moves set in your mouse
So click up, all night, night

(Moderator)

There will be piece of mind on the board
Take a little time, off and out, you can’t pout
It’s a major sign, that you’ll be banned for a while
You can’t be that bored

You two losers are clowns, clowns, you losers are clowns, clowns, you low lives are down, down, you low lives are down...

(Trolls)

Let's troll tonight
As we have no lives
We can start a fight
We’re gonna troll tonight
Lol!

Let us troll, nothing to lose, it’s alright, alright, alright
Let us troll under your nose
So get lost, that’s right, that’s right
On first half of the song a troll attempts to recruit that n00b from the previous song and he succeeded as it implies.

Great parody, Max, and I'd say that it's one of your best. Also, this parody reminds me of the banned parodist/spammer/troll/attack artist Dr Music. 5s.
Silver Power - January 12, 2009 - Report this comment
At first, I didn't get it. Then I realized that you weren't talking about the trolls that you buy out of quarter-machines. Then it was a good parody. 5, 4, 5. :]

Way to troll there, Max! Well written, well paced parody! 5's all the way!

Surprisingly, you haven't been trolled on this song yet... 5-5-5

Hairdryer setting, this was great! No kidding!

Thanks, originally I was going to work on this several months ago but was sidetracked. Finally decided to get it going in the end.

That is cool Max Power. Keep it up.

Cool song, but not exactly my cup of tea. I love TOS, and the pacing matched great, but I didn't think it was super funny, though it had it's moments. 534. :]

Uh oh! I tried inputting my 5, 3, 4, and it didn't go through because I already voted. Then I saw that I left a comment. I thought I saw this parody somewhere, I guess that's why it wasn't as funny. Disregard my last comment, you keep your 545.

[SOTM] See above (x 3). My bad again for leaving so many comments.
Matthias - February 09, 2009 - Report this comment
Thanks to Below Average Dave I know what a troll is, and any work by you that's not about sports or politics that I can understand is good enough for me.

Well, I hate Earth, Wind, and Fire, and I hate trolls. And I hate giving trolls any attention at all, like their own song, for example. So I have to say, unfortunately, that this particular song really didn't do much for me, although it was well-paced and stuff.
Agrimorfee - February 13, 2009 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Sorry I can't Youtube to check the song, this was interesting enough for me to read through, got the humor. Like how you changed the narrative slant to include the mod.

SOTM...I tried to get it...but I just didn't. Is this about World of Warcraft? Because I've got a self imposed ban on learning that language. ; )
bobpiecheese - February 27, 2009 - Report this comment
(SOTM) I understand the meaning of the term 'troll' in this context, but this parody didn't really 'click' with me. I don't know why, but it just doesn't.

(SOTM) I thought this was your best pacing job ever Max, and one of your better parodies, a tough field you've entered, but good job. . .I love trolls as a topic myself.
Jason - February 28, 2009 - Report this comment
I always thought trolls were those little dwarves found in fairy-tales, though I am aware of the meaning when it comes to internet usage.
Below Average Dave - February 28, 2009 - Report this comment
Yep Jason--like seemingly everything on the net, trolls has different meaning, and as a webmaster I've always enjoyed these parodies that take on that meaning of troll (though I do like the fairy-tale creatures you are referring to also, they're funny) you and I have both seen quite a few trolls in our time on AmIRight:)

Seeing as how I wrote a remake of your original, how could I not approve of this. Especially enjoyed the subs
"So, troll up, all night, all night"
and
"Gonna show you what I can do, With no life, that’s right"

Thanks, appreciate it.

Trolltastic! This one is one of your better one's Max. For more information see above.
Agrimorfee - April 23, 2013 - Report this comment
I like that this isnt one of your usual weird ones Max. It loses points from me by repeating a lot of the original lyrics. The best parts were the bridge vocals, where they sang a lot more words so Yo could let the topic "breathe" so to speak.

(ABC) See above.
Blaydeman - April 24, 2013 - Report this comment
(ABC) I thought this was really funny. It did have a lot of the original lyrics in there, but they did fit. I love looking at troll comments on Youtube, mostly because other people tear them apart LOL!
Abbott Skelding - April 25, 2013 - Report this comment
Not bad, I thought it was pretty funny, but I think it needed more examples of trolling (the sports team line for example). Good work all around
Red Ant - April 26, 2013 - Report this comment
(ABC) Great pacing and slam on trolls, something I hate and have written a parody of two on myself. However there could have been more humor, or slams, more... emotion, worked in here. 544
