The Lyrics

Here you go.
Do you remember the 25th night of December?
Wind was teasing the heads of pretenders
While freezing the road away

Our lungs were freezing
It's the day that froze our dogs peeing
As I laughed at the sight,
Remember - how the chill froze the night away, yeah yeah yeah.

Hey hey hey,
Ba de ya - As I can remember
Ba de ya - freezing in December
Ba de ya - always a chilly day

Ba duda, ba duda, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda

Christmas offends you
Christmas trees made people forget you
Wearing blue coat and gloves,
Forget you - Because Christmas is here to stay

I remember it's the time that we ripped on October.
Really scary and such,
Dismembered- it happened when you used Olay

Hey hey hey
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - freezing in December
Ba de ya - always such a chilly day.......where was I?
Ba de ya - But I do remember
Ba de ya - laughing in December
Ba de ya - freezing dogs have made my day

Michael Vick was singing, aha
The kids were slinging
Do you remember every chilly day - yau !

Where was I?
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - freezing in December
Ba de ya - always such a chilly day.......where was I?
Ba de ya - But I do remember
Ba de ya - laughing in December
Ba de ya - freezing dogs have made my day

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya - De ya.....

*fades*
I was going to work on "Let's Groove" but ran into technical difficulties with my head, hopefully I'll get it out soon unlike what happened to my aborted attempt to parody "California Love". For that Michael Vick reference, he's the guy who kills dogs and the line is referring to the time when he was still free, you can guess what he was singing about.

I liked this. Better than your 'Credit' parodies

Microwave setting, keep up the 'credit' job!

SOTM(NOV)

Funny how things change - I used to dread the winter when I lived in northern climates. Now where I live the winters are mild and I look forwad to the winter and dread the summer due to the heat. Nice mood setter for the Christmas season. I'll think of you when your teeth are chattering and it's a balmy 75 degrees where I am.

What was funny is that I got the taste of egg nog in my mouth while I was reading this so it must be a good Christmas parody. I'm glad to see a parody of yours about something I can understand. What ever happened to that "My Glove" parody that you were going to do for Scrubs.

Whoever is bombing this for pacing should be shot. But there was some great substitutions as this started out...then I started scratching my head by verse 3...Michael Vick?! What der hey? And "ba de ya ba de bu" just cried for some sort of substitution, too. 543

One of your better songs. I assume Michael Vick was continuing on the previous line of freezing dogs?

SOTM This song's pacing is tricky but I think you did it well. Lots of good word switches.

Pretty good winter feel song, and seeing that reaction among others I think I'll name my fav winter OS on the fly by, "Winter Dreams" by Accept, it's a ballad, from an album with a really crappy cover, but an effing great winter/christmas song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_YdeVE50Zk, the only problem I have with it is that I haven't been able to parody it yet.

Good idea, Max. An occasional pacing hiccup, but definitely not 1s worthy, let alone 17 0.o

Excellent use of 'Dismembered' midway through

(SOTM) Definitely one of your better parodies, Max. Some of the lines were a bit weird, and it was a bit tricky to figure out what the overall theme actually was, but whatever. 555 for you, sir.

after two readings I'm still a bot lost on we're you're coming from and going to here Max, but there were some poetic phrases there, certainly
Ethan Mawyer - December 29, 2008 - Report this comment
The pacing was fine but still don't know what Michael Vick was singing about (I've seen no evidence that he actually enjoyed watching dogs die). The Christmas part was solid and I think this might've been better if the parody centered around the cold and christmas instead of going on a freezing dog tangent. But maybe not. There's no way of knowing if something else would be better unless it is actually done.

(SOTM) Hmm. . .it paced great Max, but you used a lot of TOS (Great song choice to parody by the way) but it seems like a bunch of themes exploded a bit buddy, Michael Vick and October and parts of the original song cloud your theme.

YAU! I want one of these for each month! Such a great original song and I enjoyed your festive take on it. My favorite line: Really scary and such

(ABC) See above.

(ABC) You spoofed one of my all time favorite songs! And did a good job of it too. Not hysterical, but definitely cute,
Abbott Skelding - February 18, 2013 - Report this comment
I really like the OS, but this was too all over the place for me. It went in many directions and lost me right after the first chorus. Like Blaydeman said, not hysterical, but pretty okay.
