The Lyrics

What to you get when you put the words of Jimmy Buffet's "Margaritaville" to Earth, Wind and Fire's "September." Some might call it a mash up, but I call it a blend-up. Take it with a grain of salt...
I can't remember. Shaker of salt. A blender
With Tequilla a drunken splendor
A woman might be to blame

Got a tattooie
A beaut of a Mexican cutie
Not a clue how it's there
Still drinking - my fault that she got away, yeah yeah yeah.

Hey hey hey,
Ba de ya - put it in a blender
Ba de ya - drink and don't remember
Ba de ya - my fault that she got away

Ba duda, ba duda, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda

I strum my six string
While I'm sitting on my front porch swing
Oily tourists and shrimp
Still drinking - my fault that she got away, yeah yeah yeah.

It's Tequila, slice of lime and salt and I'm gone
Any color you like,
It's frozen, this concoction helps me hang on

Hey hey hey
Ba de ya - put it in a blender
Ba de ya - drink and don't remember
Ba de ya - my fault that she got away.......there was a
Ba de ya - one more Margarita
Ba de ya - was her name Anita?
Ba de ya - I've only myself to blame

Blew out my flip-flop, aha
Stepped on a pop top
And I know it's my own damn fault - yau !

Hey hey hey
Ba de ya - put it in a blender
Ba de ya - drink and don't remember
Ba de ya - my fault that she got away.......there was a
Ba de ya - one more Margarita
Ba de ya - was her name Anita?
Ba de ya - I've only myself to blame

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya - De ya..... X2

I'm a hard-core Parrothead despite having been to only one concert, and I thoroughly enjoyed your parody. I will spend the rest of september in my singlewide lounging, drinking MD 20/20 and listening to old music (including Buffett) and doing what I usually do. MasonR, Here are 555 margaritas with salt, lime and Cuervo.
