The Lyrics

Smile
Sorry Song Alright!
Tell me what your trying to say
I played it back 4 times today
The Artist seemed to have no self control
Now its being killed
I'll put new words in, yes I will
I like this better, hope your thrilled
I'll make sound mch better if I can

I dont Understand
What you tried to say, to me
Was this a song about insanity?
well regardless I fixed it up you see
They didnt Buy it and I see why now
Perhaps they'll listen now.

Sorry Song alright!
You must have been in quite a daze
I had to alter every phrase
to make sense of this twisted maze
Now i made it to the part where you
Figured any word will do
referring here to feilds of grain
Just anything that rhymes with pain
thats what you call your artists loving hand?

I dont Understand
What you tried to say, to me
Was this a song about insanity?
well regardless I fixed it up you see
They didnt Buy it and I see why now
Perhaps they'll listen now.

yes they all still love you
your albums sell no matter who
reads the rambling lyrics typed inside
Its finally done right!
I'm glad I took the time aren't you?
If you had asked me Vincent
I gladly would have sent
a really pretty song to you

Sorry Song alright!
Probably sang in empty halls
On clearance sale in shopping malls
you hear it once you will regret
ever Purchasing the album set
you wont do that again i bet
I 'm sorry man thats how it goes
so now that entire album goes
Out in the garbage bags covered with snow

Now I think I know
What you tried to say, to me
it's about your struggle with insanity
the local clinic wouldnt set you free
They think your crazy and they always will--
better take another pill.

Honest commentary--I gave you 444s instead of 555s because I don't know who the "singer" is "singing" to...an amiright.com parodist? Don McLean? Michael Jackson??

well its from me to the original composer. if you ever get the time or the interest, look up the original words to this. its some peice of work. did you see where i made fun of his choices of words? i guess the moral of the story is he had to be about nuts to come up with that, let alone sell millions of copies under various artitsts. originally its about a suicide of someone the artist cared about i guess. a 12 is fine with me. i am just happy you read it and hope you got a chuckle out of it.

Vincent refers to vincent van gogh, the dutch painter

I don't care for this parody at all; I see it as mocking and I don't like that because Vincent is such a beautiful, sad song and I don't very much care for it being treated like this. I find it rather sweet that somebody would write this song as a tribute to Van Gogh; the sad tale of Vincent's life was enough to make me want to hug him. Therefore, I don't like this parody.
