The Lyrics

A long, long time ago
In a galaxy far away
Vegeta was under an attack
And Bardock and his team went in
To talk Emperor Frieza
To request that he cut them a little slack
But his response it didn’t thrill them
He slayed the king and tried to kill them
But they escaped from that freak
So new homes they would need to seek
And all this time, Bardock had seen
Who would rise up, enter the scene
And blow Frieza to smithereens
That’s right…
He saw…
His boy

Well, my, my, this here Kakarot guy
Such a fighter and Do-Righter, and just look at him fly!
He left his planet with just one last goodbye
Saying “Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”

Did you know this fighting ace
Is a Saiyan born in outer space
And is one of few of a dying race?
And do you see him and Vegeta fight
Fists flying and blasts at the speed of light
To see whom will come out on top and win 1st place?
Well, I know he beat King Piccolo
And I’ve heard how fast his cloud can go
And he’s died twice, it’s true
But he returns and kicks butt, too
When danger comes from anywhere
Then that Saiyan hero makes a beeline there
And only one man will be left and spared
And yes,
It is
Goku!

They’re all singing
My, my, this here Kakarot guy
Such a fighter and Do-Righter, and just look at him fly!
He left his planet with just one last goodbye
Saying “Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”

Now, on Namek, our guy Goku fought
The foul tyrant Frieza who sought
Eternal life without qualm
And it looked Goku would not succeed
But wouldn’t let Frieza complete his deed
So he launched his giant Spirit Bomb
But, Frieza wasn’t dead, of course
And he killed Krillin with his force
But that wasn’t so smart
It flared up Goku’s heart
And he went Super Saiyan without fear
Said “Frieza, now listen here,
I’ll kick you in your scaly rear
So know
I am
Goku!”

We were singing
My, my, this here Kakarot guy
Such a fighter and Do-Righter, and just look at him fly!
He left his planet with just one last goodbye
Saying “Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”

Now Frieza was feeling scared
But more than that, his anger flared
At a monkey obstructing his way
So those two fought in that epic war
And it wasn’t long at all before
Our hotshot sent his blast and saved the day
And in the end some Nameks died
Some guys blew up and some others fried
A lot of folks were croaking
The planet’s shell was broken
And the villain that we hated most
Had been a ruler, but now he’s toast
We’re still here and he’s a ghost
So yes,
We thank
Goku…

And we’re still singing
My, my, this here Kakarot guy
Such a fighter and Do-Righter, and just look at him fly!
He left his planet with just one last goodbye
Saying “Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”
Yes, we’re singing
My, my, this here Kakarot guy
Such a fighter and Do-Righter, and just look at him fly!
He left his planet with just one last goodbye
Saying “Don’t worry, I’ll never die.”
