The Lyrics

My son has been really getting into the X-Files Sci-Fi series, and I've really enjoyed re-watching it with him. Here's my tribute to a GREAT T.V. series:
He partners up with Scully
Paranormal just fits the crime
They found records of a black ooze
Eyes glinted of black grime
Thinks X-files read of others
When his sister was around
Then some bright light from a space craft
Lifted her from the ground

X-files disorder, sister snatched to sky
Now Agent Mulder....

They learned now that rambling sound
A sign of abduction found
Pistol shots they're getting way too close
Saucer breaks from the ground
Scully said to Mulder
They're watching now understand
History is covered up
By the Cigarette Smoking Man

Fox saw a saucer, flying in the sky
He's Agent Mulder....

The F.B.I told him go to hell
Case is empty, old who cares?
But that new Army truck moans, green things inside
Public you need to share
Fox had lost his fight and they purged his head
No longer is a threat
Til saucers show truth in all of this
Now Mulder never forgets

Call Agent Mulder, "Spooky" knows the crime
Fox saw a saucer...

I'm not the only one doing a television based parody today. I don't know if you've seen the show but you should check out my parody of "How I Met Your Mother"

I did check that one out, Matthias. Great one(left comment). Thanks for the "X' vote!!

Oh, I love The X-Files. Used to watch it during my high school years. And I loved David Duchovny as Agent Mulder. He was so hot! When I was around 18-19 years old, I dreamt of being one of those women Duchovny was having an affair with in spite of the fact that I had a boyfriend at the time. I even wrote a parody tribute about him in high school 'Loving David Duchovny' converted from Ricky Martin's 'Livin' La Vida Loca' but you'll never find it on AIR though of course. Anyways, the truth is out there...with 555 mysterious life forms invading the earth!

Nice one! I always found X-Files a little too creepy, but given all the crossover I've seen between X-Files and LOST fans, maybe I should go back and give it another try... 5s!

Definitely a winner here, Mark. I'm a huge X-files fan, and I'll have Scully parody up tomorrow. (I'm currently working on a series of X-files parodies- curse you for beating me to posting about Mulder ;-P ). Favorite episode (out of quite a few): the one where 2 kids are abducted by aliens and everyone has a different point of view of what actually happened. Classic series, sir.

UFO of thanks to you, Bilbopooh & AFW. Thanks, Warren, Can't wait to read the "Scully"!! My son & I are just finishing up season 4 as I am writing this(The scary "Home" episode with the mutant inbred family always gave me the creeps!!)...Just picked up season 5 yesterday, and will be starting that soon. "The Parodies Are Out There......"

"Home" is a struggle for me, too. The whole Andy Griffith and ultra violent 'family' theme was extremely creepy.
Let me know what you think about "Scully" when it's posted.

Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.

Mark - I got busy during the past 36 hours or so and now I see that I missed Mulder and Scully. I guess they are gone now then, huh? Sheesh I'd love to talk to those two. I'd have liked to have learned more about the monkey pee and the elephant and I wonder what that thing was that Scully brought when she was in the car and asked Mulder to pull over and he asked "Did you really have to bring that thing?" And I agree with Scully, that Bambi is no real Blonde.

I was an avid viewer of X-Files. Adagio watches a lot of the syndicated reruns. I didn't see all the episodes as I did Lost but I watched it often and I catch reruns when I can.. One of my favorite episodes was the one with the Chupacabra. And yes I have written a parody on the Chupacabra.

This parody is X-tra X-cellent and if it had a rating it would have to be X rated for obvious reasons. Fine write, Mark.

I still rate this X for X-cellent. Who doesn't like X-Files and Moulder and Scully. See my comments above. You can't go wrong writing about X-Files.
Peter Andersson - August 15, 2010 - Report this comment
I think that Moulder and Scully came up with the perfect government gig, their inability to ever really solve a case and come up with evidence that would stand the light of day must in itself has been classified as an inexplicable X-File, for them to look into while lifting their paychecks, he-he...

(SOTM) Never seen X-Files. All I know is a particularly amusing Eddie Izzard bit: "With Scully always there, because she’s so “Look, Mulder, I don’t believe that Martians with big elbows are taking over the world.” “There’s 50 lbs. worth of files – there’s tons of files on that thing; it’s all here, Scully, you gotta read these files!” And by the end of the episode, there’s Martians with big elbows everywhere! And she’s swatting them off with a tennis racket, “I believe you! I believe you, Scully! Mulder. You know who you are!”" Yeah. Besides that bit of nonsense I know nothing about X-Files. So I can't really say much about this parody except that it paced well. So...yeah.

Thanks, Red Ant. It is tough to make the X-Files funny(Except for the classic dialog entered by Guy in the comments...LOL)
