Thanks Michael. I imagine that there will be a few people getting drunk at the NY Post today after running a front page exclusive announcing Richard Gephardt as John Kerry's running mate - I guess it was an exclusive. By the way, there were a few comments removed from this parody and I don't know why. This disturbs me - I'm not in favor or comments being removed whether they are pro or con. Would someone like to explain this one to me?

Yes, but it was my mistake - too fast with the decade pull down menu. The comment was correct and the decade designation hasn't been revised on the parody. I think it should have been left there.

The decade used to be announced at the top of each parody, but because anal-retentive lurkers made such a fuss about incorrect categorizations, that was changed. Yet there are still comments from those who have nothing better to do than scrutinize URLs and point out inaccuracies. Such comments can be reported as inappropriate (as happened here) and Chucky will remove them.

But I didn't report the comment as inappropriate. So someone, other than the author of the parody, asked for a comment to be taken down. I guess I just don't like the precedent this sets. Frankly, this author believes the comment was appropriate.

Comments about what decade a parody is filed under, is pointless. The index by decade function isn't even going to be the main link on the navigation menu soon, so no matter who mentions it, whether the author likes it or not, it will be removed. Nonsense about spotting similar ids and saying they belong to various people is also deleted. I have a random number in there, and it wasn't random enough, hence the reason it sometimes looked like the same person. Seriousily people, grow up.

I'm sure that there was a comment on here complaining about the fact that the decade on here was wrong, but I doubt very seriously that it was written by Decade Police or Decade Cop or any of those folks.

I like this parody too. One of my favourite 80's songs. 5,5,5 is what I vote on it.
