Those keys were really flying.
Harsh barbs land fast as lightning.
It's more than a little bit frightening.

They were little pasty men, in a crabby cyber town.
Making memes up, and loading them down.
Modern fake news art, with no knowledge to impart,
Mix an insult with a quip, and shoot it from the hip.

Everybody was Facebook fighting,
Those slams were fast as lightning.
If you don't agree, you'll get a smiting.
I'll call you a smug little orange thing.

Liberal on the left, neo-con on the right.
They said, I'm the expert here (or no where), and flipped the keyboard on.
He took a shot, she made a stand, four letter words at hand.
While both of them were typing, their likes and shares were climbing.

Everybody was Facebook fighting.
Those trolls were really biting.
Narrow thinking, stale ideas cling.
And all the insults still ring.

Whether you're racist, homophobe,
Or just plain ignorant.
Facebook is your throne.
Even nimrods have to sit.

Everybody was Facebook fighting.
They may be right, but do the wrong thing.
They could choose words that don't sting.
But how much fun would that bring?
