There are very few trends I get into, but I loved and still love sweat bands--I wear them almost daily because they serve a real purpose and look cool. They've been 'replaced' by little plastic ones that have the same principle appearance wise, but don't serve a practical purpose like sweat bands did, here is my tribute to one of my favorite fringe trends of all time, I know, I'm showing my 90s side. . .according to our local "hit" station, they are "Kicking it old school" with 2002, so I guess the 90s are Golden Oldies now. . .guess they'd consider Carl Douglas pre-historic

To keep my sweat from glaring
Most of them show bands I'm blaring
but some contain foul mouthed swearing
Well I remember when
Spencers had them around
They had stocked those shelves up
but now they hardly get found
They act as purpose serving art
and their made for every body part
From your head down to the hips
Even your toes and finger-tips
But you know I'm still sweat band wearing
Some laugh, but you know I ain't caring
You know I can't do gaudy earrings (hey yeah)
and you know on these I'm not sharing
I've got them in every tinge
I've always got four on
I said, most trends can just get lost
Wish these weren't gone
No slap on crap or Silly bands
I don't wear too much on my hands
Them lighted shoes won't do the trick
but these cotton bands are really slick
and so I'll always be sweat band wearing
and sometimes I'll be pairing
In fact there are no limbs I'm sparing
But over time they're flaring

I remember those things! I'm a fan of your random topics like Agrimorfee's random topics but you go more for comedy in yours while he goes more for educational.
