This parody was written in response to the news that Disney has bought out Lucasfilm. As ever, I hope you enjoy, and may the Force be with you.
Have you heard that Lucasfilm,
Has just been giv'n away.
The films will live forever more,
All thanks to Walt Disney.
Short time ago in Hollywood,
So all the media say,
The company Lucasfilm was bought by Disney.
Have you read what the papers say,
A deal was struck today.
Star Wars'll live forever more,
Because of Walt Disney.
And they will keep up the franchise,
N'mber VII is on the way.
Each Disney princess will get a fright,
When they meet Princess Leia.
And they will wonder what is wrong,
When they hear about the Death Star.
Have you read what the papers say,
A deal was struck today.

Good idea, Christopher. Don't know why somebody felt strongly enough to lay 111s on you. Don't worry, I've had a few.
I knew Mary's Boy Child (Belafonte version) but I never listen to Boney M (or watch the Star Wars franchises) so I had to go to OS, as it's two songs in one (you should have indicated on the title, and also provided a link to the song, if possible).
You made some good substitutes but syllable count and stress rhythms don't match here and there, so I think straight 3s is fair, not that the voting is so important anyway. Also, I think the topic is a little too narrow for such a long song and as a result your ideas tend to be recycled by the final verses.
