Parody Song Title:

"I Shot Musharraf"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I shot Musharraf
But I shoulda shot the Refugee, oh no! Oh
I shot Musharraf
But I shoulda shot the Refugee, ooh, ooh, oo-ooh

Yeah! All around in Pakistan
They're dying to crack my plan
They say they want to bring me in guilty
For the blunder of the century
For not killing the Refugee

But I say:

Oh, now, now. Oh!
I shot Musharraf - Musharraf
But I swear it was an accident
Oh, no! (Ooh, ooh, oo-oh) Yeah!
I say: I shot Musharraf - Oh, Lord!
And they say: Who cares about our President
Yeah! (Ooh, ooh, oo-oh) Yeah!

Terror compounds always baited me
That nut, eyes aglow
Every time I drew a bead
He would will it to soar too low -
He would skillfully snort and go

And so, read it in the news:

I shot Musharraf. Oh, Lord!
But I swear I had the right intent
Where was the Refugee? (Oo-oo-oh)
I say: I shot Musharraf
But I swear that's never what I meant (Oo-oh) Yeah!

Fleeting fame it came one day
In a startled mountain town, yeah!
All of a sudden I saw terror abound
Aiming to seize the crown
So I shot - I shot - I shot a round, and I say:
I know I'm guilty, I will pay

I shot Musharraf
And I say: But I shoulda shot the Refugee
I didn't shoot the Refugee (oh, no-oh), oh no!
I shot Musharraf. I did!
But I shoulda shot the Refugee. Oh! (Oo-oo-ooh)

Reflexes had got the better of me
And that Refugee runs free
Every day I duck and a-hope to Hell
I'll spray that rotten a-roustabout
And lay that rotten a-scoundrel out

I say:

I - I - I - I shot Musharraf
Lord, I shoulda shot the Refugee. Yeah!
I - I shot Musharraf -
Still I'm gonna shoot that Refugee, yeah! Oh, yeah!

Excellent title and parody. One of the two best Pervez Musharraf parodies on AmiRight!

Thanks all...John, it took me a while to figure it out, since your Musharraf parody didn't have the General's name in it, but I finally found your Major-General parody about Musharraf, which was a brilliant piece of work, far better than my piece of fluff.

Thanks for going to the trouble to figure out my self-serving comment, Leo.
