The Lyrics

This parody almost wrote itself.
See the Congress legislating!
As the K Street whores are hating!
Any bill that smells of freedom.
Career Hacks K Street really needs them!
To keep the electorate a-churning!
As cross and liberty are burning!
Seeking to own all mankind,
Power addiction warps their minds.
Oh lord yeah!

The Constitution, it is left behind,
Governance begets tyranny!
The halls of power they corrupt in the end,
Bad times are here for you and me.*

Freedom is burning, liberty's enslaved
Political leeches on the Hill
Career politicians they are naught but knaves,
Regulation overkill.

Now that thirty four have called it,
Now the Congress, they can't stop it...
Amendments for ratification,
Congress up for gentrification.
Term Limits now are calling,
Hack pols loudly caterwauling.
Hoping SCOTUS will keep them in,
The Eagle calls and spreads its wings.

Oh lord yeah!

It never crossed my mind, but "War Pigs" looks like a good OS for purposes of parody. It doesn't seem that difficult to do, and Ozzy Osbourne's persona makes all his songs vaguely amusing . I'm surprised there aren't more parodies. 555s
