The Lyrics

about that light salad dressing or cranberry juice that you just may buy, and not realize it until you get home...
Friday night, was at a party
salad dressing wasn't tardy
found a can and so I tasted it
seemed flavor was gone
didn't taste like it should've
and I thought that it was weakened, wasn't great

I've been drinking my juice in my home
I opened a new kind I own
but it didn't quite have that same nice fresh taste
and I thought that I was high
but it might've been the kind
of juice that I was drinking that's insane

it may be light
I may be crazy
but it just may be more calories I'm looking for
label's in sight
can't read, I'm lazy
I may be wrong, for all I know
it may be light

remember how I bought it there
alone inside the store is where
and I bought it all in hopes it was just style
I was longing for a brand
with some flavor, wasn't bland
'cause I might have bought the tasteless in that isle

now think of all the times I tried to
find a kind that tasted real good
I might be as crazy as I say
if I'm crazy, then it's true
that the dressing wasn't good
and I wouldn't ever buy that crap again

it may be light
I may be crazy
but it just may be more calories I'm looking for
label's in sight
can't read, I'm lazy
I may be wrong, for all I know
it may be light

it may be light
I may be crazy
but it just may be more calories I'm looking for
label's in sight
can't read, I'm lazy
I may be wrong, for all I know
it may be light

I may be wrong, but it may be light
I may be wrong but it may be light

This wasn't your best, but it's the first parody about salad dressing I've read...

So-called 'lite' salad dressings are all yucky.

Actually, "light" dressings have sugars, which replaces the fat found in regular dressings. To me, that's even worse. If I couldn't have regular, then vinegrettes, or vinegar and oil dressings, are better.

Was this a ballad or a salad?

yeah, not my best, I was tired while writing it, so thats why...and Jonathon, I cant stand Vinigrette dressing, to me it has possibly the worst flavor out of anything else...light dressings though are very much disgusting...

Low sodium pretzels, anyone?

The word "vinigrette" (misspelled?) has possibilities. Anybody wanna take it on? Merry: Low sodium pretzels sound nice. Send some to the White House. Supposedly, Georgie likes 'em. My favorite T-Shirt: A Roman soldier cutting a steak with his sword, caption, "Caesar did not have a salad."

It's "vinaigrette", Mike (from the French 'vinaigre', meaning vinegar)
