The Lyrics

"Kaiju", literally "strange monster" in Japanese, is one of the stock themes in the Japanese filmography. Godzilla must be the most familiar kaiju for most of us, but there are dozens of others as well.
It started after war when came the Godzilla
It levelled Tokyo and crushed too Osaka
And then followed dozens of monsters strange
So please apologize me if I am deranged
It happens to be true -
I'm only scared of the Kaiju!

Manda, Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidorah
and jellyfish from outer space - the Dogora
They want all our women - and carbon too
and sometimes they just want to set up human zoo
It's crazy and it's cruel -
I'm only scared of the Kaiju!

I'm not scared of Jurassic Park
and zombies - oh what heck
Vampires, I'll blow for a lark
but kaiju make me wreck -

I don't know what the perils lie at Eastern Sea
But all in all, those kaiju are too much for me
When I see those monsters, I want to scream
I want to run as fast I can and not get cream'd
My face will go all blue -
I'm only scared of the Kaiju!

I'm not scared of Jurassic Park
and zombies - oh what heck
Vampires, I'll blow for a lark
but kaiju make me wreck -

I don't know what the perils lie at Eastern Sea
But all in all, those kaiju are too much for me
When I see those monsters, I want to scream
I want to run as fast I can and not get cream'd
My face will go all blue -
I'm only scared of the Kaiju!

Don't know this version but it seems exactly the same as the 1964 Dusty Springfield early hit. Interesting match-up. You know your Jap monsters. I knew a Japanese couple who had a cat named 'Mosera' (Mothra). It was one of the ugliest cats I'd ever seen. I threatened to make it into a shamizen (those traditional instruments were once made of catskin).

You ran into a few grammar errors, which is understandable, but the problem is if you correct them you throw out the pacing. Here are my suggestions:
'Please apologize me if I am deranged' - me can't be the object of apologise because you're doing the apologizing, so: 'I apologize if I appear deranged' fits.
'I don't know what perils lie at Eastern Sea' - 'sea' is too broad a location to use 'at' - 'in' is better, also 'seas' but that would upset the rhyme scheme.
I'm also a bit concerned about 'blowing vampires' for a lark. You can have that on your own! I wonder if you meant something else?

But to make parodies in a language other than your first is quite an achievement. I don't think most of us could ever do it. Still, I knocked off a point in each category for these awkward expressions.

Ee, sumimasen deshta. English isn't my first language (it is only my third after Finnish and Swedish), and while I am pretty comfortable on using it, I am not always familiar with all phrases and expressions. I just attempted to come by with something which would rhyme. So please excuse me the concept errors and forced rhymes :-)

The monster movies, Kaiju eiga, are an integral part of the Japanese filmography, and IMO they have not received their fair share of parodies yet. Some kaiju are scary, some creepy and some just funny.

I also only know the Dusty Springfield version of this song, but I did YouTube the Bay City Rollers version just to check they hadn't made any changes to it. It's pretty much identical to Dusty's version, as far as I can tell.
Liked it a lot - quirky subject matter, wittily handled. Pacing was a teensy bit off in a few places, but still enjoyed it immensely. Not sure about 'blowing vampires' as a strategy though - is the good old-fashioned stake-through-the-heart considered too confrontational now? ;^)

Godzilla is still my favorite movie. This was a good parody
