The Lyrics

I was shocked to hear that Barry White had died. Had he lived longer, he would have played a singing superhero on a sitcom inspired by Mystery Men. This is my final goodbye to Barry White.
He rests in peace
Lord have mercy, his deep voice scared
He was such a cool man, yeah
He was sick, Heaven's his home
Heaven's his home

Let his music play
Because Barry White just passed away
Tear after tear after tear, wanted Barry to stay
Died too young, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, weep

Let his music play on
Just until he feels this misery is gone
(He was) Movin', kickin', groovin', keep his music strong
Play it on and on and on,
Play it on and on and on and on and on
Play it on and on and on

Independence Day is still sad
We can't erase, his voice was real
The tender love we used to share
See, it's sad he's no longer here
He tried to hide what was killin' him inside

Let his music play
Because Barry White just passed away
Tear after tear after tear, wanted Barry to stay
Died too young, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, weep

Let his music play on
Just until he feels this misery is gone
(He was) Movin', kickin', groovin', keep his music strong
Play it on and on and on,
Play it on and on and on and on and on
Play it on and on and on

Don't think I'm gonna be alright, no, no, no
Can't survive without Barry White, oh, Lord
I'll just pretend he's here with me
I'll close my eyes, his face I'll see
I know it's make believe, so let Barry rest in peace

Let his music play
Because Barry White just passed away
Tear after tear after tear, wanted Barry to stay
Died too young, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, weep

Let his music play on
Just until he feels this misery is gone
(He was) Movin', kickin', groovin', keep his music strong
Play it on and on and on,
Play it on and on and on and on and on
Play it on and on and on

This parody is very lighthearted and serious, and very far-removed from your usual style of parodying. I loved it anyway. Perfect Shakespearian tribute to a great man with a deep voice (literally).

Lemmy why do you only leave comments on Chris Bodily's parodies? Nice tribute anyway.
