she gets up every mornin'
and that oven starts warmin'
up to 315 until its ready
then a tray, inside, she shoves
with pastry puddles by the dozen
when they rise, they're sure to look pretty
but she ignores the time
and the rolls cook past their prime
and then the whole mess, she must throw away
and it makes me so annoyed
when my breakfast gets destroyed
i guess that her attention's astray

cause she is bakin' scary biscuits...every day

come out molten, black and sizzlin'
as a batch she is fizzlin'
and i make mad sounds as i bellow
they have come out all scarred
cause she took it way too far
it takes me quite a while to get mellow

and i'm never eatin' buns
cause she burns 'em, every one
she knows that i don't like 'em that way
and i ain't overjoyed
with the methods she employs
they're overdone cause she lets 'em stay
