I like a good number of Al Stewart compositions but I found this one to be especially haunting in sound...and perfect as a parody vehicle.....

I gazed upon a group of oddly clothed black cattle...
But they weren't cows but burkha wearing women; chattel
A real need for suffrage here...
For Muslim women its whips and chains
While livestock would've been fed some grain on the border...
On the map the omnicider toll is rising
See the mad ones who still think of compromising
The Qur'an marks their savage line
Dar-Es-Salaam will never be...
Because this savage perfidy here on the border....
Since the year 632
Nothing's really changed
Except his followers are more deranged every day
And no one cares as rationality slips away
Two bomb blasts along a trail of Marathon prowess...
Terrorist acts are now beyond the point of excess...
another omnicider act...
The only way that we might beat them
is to employ their stratagem here on the border...
