The Lyrics

The first that we have seen a state's democratic primary closed off entirely. So too is the first time that this OS has been used for song parody purposes. Breaking ground all around.
(Verse 1)
Many days all locked away
Empty streets and ballot races to remind
From the left in deep blue state, only one person left to vote
Cancel the date, and folks still irate

(Nooo) Here he is, with his gang in tow
(Nooo) Andrew Yang and his lawsuit
And Cuomo, you’re stopping our rights

We’re back, back in the Voting Mood
We’re back, back in the Voting Mood
We’re back, back in the Voting Mood
Back in the Voting Mood, in the Voting Mood

(Verse 2)
FEC in the NYC
Using health excuse, no mail-in option, for our primary
Stick with Joe if he’s weary, legislate the choice
Suspended folks we bury, but here’s the contrary

(Nooo) I got a legal fight
(Nooo) What about the down ballots
So Cuomo, you’re stopping our rights

We’re back, back in the Voting Mood (x10)

(Fade Out)

If the New York State legislature ever tries to change their groove on appealing this decision, I will pull this song. The humour dies when there lacks truth to it. Also, if there are any citizens of New York who plan to vote for the primary, keep this song in your heart and mind. Remember who cared enough for you to make that choice to vote. You're going to need him in 2024.
